What is Hematoma?

Hematoma is disease which refers to an abnormal collection of blood outside of a blood vessel usually partially clotted in a tissue or in a organ which result a broken or ruptured blood vessel. Hematoma is occurring when the wall of blood vessel, vein, capillary or artery is damage and blood vessel leaks blood in to the surrounding tissue. It can affect at any part on the body. It can cause a minor skin bruise in organ, muscles or in the skull.

There are several types of hematoma like:

Subdural hematomas
: It is a collection of clotting blood which occurs between the middle layer of brain and the brain dura. Subdural hematomas are mainly caused by head trauma. It can cause serious head injuries and difficult to remove. Acute subdural hematomas may occur in any age of group. Chronic subdural hematomas are common in the elder people.

Epidural hematomas: Epidural hematomas are also referring to head trauma which often caused skull fracture during childhood. It is between the inner part of the skull and dura. It occurs head injuries and resulting in loss of brain function. It may remove by surgery.
Subarachnoid hematomas: Subarachnoid hematomas are very dangerous condition between the arachnoids membrane and the pia mater. It is often caused by stroke or various head injuries.
Intraparenchymal hematoma: This type of hematomas occur itself in brain. It occurs due to bleeding from uncontrolled high blood pressure.

Scalp hematomas: It occurs at outside of the skull. In this internal bleeding has not occurred in the skull.

What is Ringworm? Ringworm is a type of highly fungal skin infections that causes ring-like red rashes on the skin. There are many type of fungal and some can affect the nails, skin and hair. It can affect adults but Children are specially affected by ringworm. These rashes may appear anywhere on the body. Dogs, pets or cats may be a source of transmitting the disease in human body. The medical term of ringworm is tinea. Causes : It is common it affect people of all ages, especially among children’s. It is caused by fungus not caused by a worm. Some of these fungus bacteria are useful while other can cause infection and spread easily from one person to another. You can get ringworm by touching an infected cat or dog. Ringworm of the scalp can spread when children share hats, brushes or combs. It can spread by sharing towels, sport gear or clothing. The fungus bacteria can spread in warm, moist areas. Asterixis Causes Symptoms and Treatment

What is Asterixis? Asterixis is a type of movement disorder characterized by arrhythmic flexion movements of hands evoked by dorsiflexion of the wrists and outstretched arms. It is an involuntary tremor of the wrist loss of sustained contraction of the arms against ones will. It is produced by lapse of sustained posture. Mainly it causing hand tremors and the tremor occurs in both wrists and is not rhythmic characterized by metacarpophalangeal joints, jerky, irregular movements at the wrist and often accompanied by lateral movements of the fingers. Sometime this condition is called liver flap because it indicate brain damage or liver damage. Asterixis might be caused by kidney problems. Causes of Asterixis : The common cause of asterixis is liver failure or it might be caused by the problems of kidney failure. This is called azotemia. Kidneys have trouble in filtering out nitrogen-based compounds. Other causes are DRUGS (ABC) like alcohol, anticonvulsant phenytoin and carbamazepine,
