What is Lichenification?

Lichenification refers to chronic thickening of the epidermis seen with exaggeration of normal skin which occurs in area of chronic irritation. Lichenification is due to chronic irritation which results in scratching and rubbing. The skin becomes thickness because the outer layer of the skin becomes hypertrophied. It may be painful or usually it is not so dangerous. Lichenification is also occurring by eczema. It is very common disease which can affect to anyone. It may also arise on seemingly normal skin.

Causes of Lichenification: Several itching and irritation may cause this disease. It is just like a cycle means firstly itch, scratch, and irritate which cause itching again and again. Other cause of lichenification is eczema which refers to skin problem and also cause by infection refers bacteria which found in many cases and treated with antibiotic.
Diagnosis of Lichenification:

• Eczema: Eczema is a chronic disorder which involves rashes and itchy skin. [Eczema Causes]
• Auto-Immune Disorders
• Allergic Problem

Symptoms of Lichenification: Main symptom of lichenification is tough skin and leathery skin. Some other symptom is irritation, itching, Dry, scaly, flaking or peeling or skin itchy patches, red rashes on your skin. Skin becomes dry when it looses too much water. Some allergies are occur and the symptoms are same like eczema.

Treatment of Lichenification: As we all know that Lichenification is like a eczema disease so the treatment is same as eczema. Ask your doctor about the better treatment of lichenification. Doctor will suggest some treatment like antimicrobial medicines, such as antifungal, antibiotics or antiviral. Some treatment is depending on the infection. Take proper treatment by specialist skin care or dermatologist.

What is Ringworm? Ringworm is a type of highly fungal skin infections that causes ring-like red rashes on the skin. There are many type of fungal and some can affect the nails, skin and hair. It can affect adults but Children are specially affected by ringworm. These rashes may appear anywhere on the body. Dogs, pets or cats may be a source of transmitting the disease in human body. The medical term of ringworm is tinea. Causes : It is common it affect people of all ages, especially among children’s. It is caused by fungus not caused by a worm. Asterixis Causes Symptoms and Treatment

What is Asterixis? Asterixis is a type of movement disorder characterized by arrhythmic flexion movements of hands evoked by dorsiflexion of the wrists and outstretched arms. It is an involuntary tremor of the wrist loss of sustained contraction of the arms against ones will. It is produced by lapse of sustained posture. Mainly it causing hand tremors and the tremor occurs in both wrists and is not rhythmic characterized by metacarpophalangeal joints, jerky, irregular movements at the wrist and often accompanied by lateral movements of the fingers. Sometime this condition is called liver flap because it indicate brain damage or liver damage. Asterixis might be caused by kidney problems. Causes of Asterixis : The common cause of asterixis is liver failure or it might be caused by the problems of kidney failure. This is called azotemia. Kidneys have trouble in filtering out nitrogen-based compounds. Other causes are DRUGS (ABC) like alcohol, anticonvulsant phenytoin and carbamazepine,
