Septicemia Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

Septicemia is a life threatening infection disease in which there is large amount of bacteria is presence in blood. It is also known as blood poisoning. In human there are lots of bacteria in human body like in skin, mouth and bowel, but these bacteria are cause in blood stream. Only because of this disease in very short time people get infected. It is necessary that septicemia treated with antibiotic if it is not treated properly then infected blood creating life threatening problem.

Causes of septicemia: Usually septicemia is occurring due to infection throughout the body. This infection can be anywhere in the body like in the lungs, kidney, in respiratory system, in the skin, abdomen and urinary tract. All bacteria are causes from primary infection in to the blood and infected on various part of the body. Anyone can develop septicemia. It is also caused by drug, untreated by antibiotic or medicine. Any treatment which causes septicemia like surgery, some dental treatment.

Symptoms of Septicemia: The symptoms of septicemia is developed very quickly and the symptom will start from spiking fevers, rapid heart rate, high fever, rapid breathing. Other symptoms include:
Violent shivering fever
Rapid and shallow breathing
Abdominal pain unexplained rashes on part of the body
Confusion and anxiety
Low blood pressure
Feeling dizzy
Pale or blotchy skin
The people who suffer from septicemia have to take intensive care.

Precaution from septicemia: To procure from septicemia you have to wear clean dress. Take proper care of yourself and if you see any infection then take medical care.

Treatment of septicemia: The treatment of septicemia is depending on types of infection. You should take proper medical care from the medical profession to treated septicemia. Usually septicemia takes long term antibiotic treatment and changes in bacteria ratio. Doctor will take your blood test to check the bacteria. Early treatment is very essential for septicemias. If treatment is good then people take good recovery.
