What is Thrush?

Thrush is a common infection of mouth caused by the candida fungus that affects many younger children and newborns. The fungus occurs widely and usually noticed in many people mouths. With the mouth it affects other parts of body including vagina which can cause diaper rashes and vaginal infection. If women’s are in under age of 20 or pregnant then it is common that period of time. Men can get thrush too only few develop the itchiness and rashes. In adults or older children, thrush is triggered most often by drugs or diseases. Person with diabetes, HIV infection or cancer have the risk of thrush.

Causes of Thrush: Thrush can be cause by many factors like:

Poor health or diet:  Some products like tea, coffee, sugar and wine increase urinary sugar and growth in the vagina.

Antibiotics: Any type of antibiotic can increase the risk of thrush and may cause the body to weaken.

Pregnancy: If women are pregnant then it may create high levels of sugars in vaginal secretions and recurrent infection.

During periods: Menstrual blood affects the vagina by changing the acidity it may increase the chance of thrush.

Emotional or physical stress: Stress affects your immune system and may increase the risk of thrush.

Diabetes: It increases blood sugar in the vaginal secretions. Due to high sugar levels in urine may contribute to thrush.

Symptoms of thrush: Some common symptoms of thrush are:
Pain or difficulty swallowing
Itching and Burning: It is most common symptoms in thrush
Redness, soreness and pain during sexual intercourse or during urination
Uncomfortable in sitting and walking
Fever if the infection spread
Difficulty chewing

Precaution from thrush: There are some precautions:
Change your diet, eat fresh food and sugar free food.
Schedule regular dentist visit
Avoid stress and smoking

Treatment of thrush: Usually thrush is not a serious problem but it can be uncomfortable, so the treatment of thrush is essential. Find professional doctors for treating the symptoms. What is Asterixis? Asterixis is a type of movement disorder characterized by arrhythmic flexion movements of hands evoked by dorsiflexion of the wrists and outstretched arms. It is an involuntary tremor of the wrist loss of sustained contraction of the arms against ones will. It is produced by lapse of sustained posture. Mainly it causing hand tremors and the tremor occurs in both wrists and is not rhythmic characterized by metacarpophalangeal joints, jerky, irregular movements at the wrist and often accompanied by lateral movements of the fingers. Sometime this condition is called liver flap because it indicate brain damage or liver damage. Asterixis might be caused by kidney problems. Causes of Asterixis : The common cause of asterixis is liver failure or it might be caused by the problems of kidney failure. This is called azotemia. Kidneys have trouble in filtering out nitrogen-based compounds. Other causes are DRUGS (ABC) like alcohol, anticonvulsant phenytoin and carbamazepine,
