Sleep is very essential for a person’s health, in whole of the world millions of people do not get the enough sleep because of this the human suffer from lack of sleep. Insomnia is that disease in which you getting difficulty to sleep or staying asleep. In this disease person have poor experience of sleep or has trouble sleeping. Insomnia has some points like difficulty in sleep, waking up too early in the morning, not feeling fresh after night sleep. Insomnia is very common disease which affects people of all ages including children. Women’s are affected more as like as men. Primary insomnia is caused by physical or mental condition and secondary insomnia is caused by a medical condition, cancers or depression means difficulty in having sleep because of something else.

Insomnia can be divided in to two parts

Acute (short-term): Acute Insomnia is last then a week, unable to consistently sleep well.

Chronic (ongoing): Long term problem is called chronic insomnia, having symptoms at least 3 nights.

Transient insomnia: It is caused by severe depression, transient is lasting from days to week in this insomnia is comes and goes.

Causes of Insomnia: There are lots of causes of insomnia like:

Depression: Depression is the higher risk of insomnia. In this the feeling is sadness, discouragement and despair.

Stress: Because of stress has a major impact on human sleep, person get emotional and always something in the mind of man moves, working in the night shift and long shift.

Anxiety: Anxiety is that condition in which people tension is increased feeling worry and fear. It increases the risk of insomnia.

Genetic: problem to run in some families has a risk of insomnia.

Drugs and Medicine: Drugs, like alcohol, blood pressure medicine, allergy medicine, weight loss medicine increase the risk of insomnia.

Medical condition: In medical condition include asthma, high blood pressure, stroke, chronic pain increases the higher risk of insomnia.

Hormone changes in women: During menstruation, at the time of pregnancy.

Symptoms of Insomnia: symptoms of insomnia are easily found like:

• Difficulty falling asleep at night
• Sleep only for short periods
• Wake up at early in the morning
• Feeling irritable, tired not concentrate to work next day
• Not feeling refreshed when you wake up, Daytime fatigue or sleepiness
• Difficulty socializing
• Depression, Irritability or anxiety

Precaution from Insomnia: Some precautions are
• Try to avoid alcohol, caffeine or nicotine before bed.
• Eat regular and proper meal
• Don't take naps during the day.
• Try to maintain your room temperature.
• You can take some regular exercise before going to bed.

Treatment of Insomnia: When you feel difficulty in sleeping then it’s a time to call the doctor. Sleep specialists will diagnosis your disease and take some physical exam like want to know medical history, sleep history this is only for to look condition for causes of insomnia. The doctor will treated it properly they can also suggest you some therapy like Cognitive therapy, Stimulus control therapy (only go to bed), Improving "sleep hygiene all these treatment are Non-pharmacological approaches. In some cases of insomnia, you may be referred to a sleep center for special type of tests.
