Polio is a type of viral disease which is spread from person to person. It is most serious type of problem which damages the nervous system and associated with paralysis, breathing problem and death. It is just like permanent paralysis if it reaches in brain or lung then it will stop breathing. There are mainly three types of polio:

Spinal Polio: It is a common form of paralytic polio which damages the upper part of spinal cord and causes breathing problem.

Bulbar Polio: It is the virus which affect motor nervous system in the brain stream where the cranial nerves system are located. It is most affected to breath, speak and swallow.

Bulbospinal polio: It is the combination of bulbar polio and spinal polio which affect the legs and arms.

Causes of Polio: Polio is that virus which is caused by the poliovirus. It can spread easily from one person to another person and enters in the body through the mouth. It is common in young children’s and occurs in summer month. The symptoms of polio are become after 10 or 7 days.

Symptoms of polio: The symptoms will occur according to the type of polio. Some symptoms include fever, vomiting, headaches, and abdominal pain, fatigue and muscle pains. The symptoms usually occur in 7 to 15 days the persona which is affected by poliovirus. Other symptom is paralysis in this it damage your body part.

Treatment of polio: If you see all these symptoms then ask your doctor for the treatment of polio. There are many specialists like medical specialists, physicians, or other medical professionals they will recommend you best treatment according to the type of polio.

What is Asterixis? Asterixis is a type of movement disorder characterized by arrhythmic flexion movements of hands evoked by dorsiflexion of the wrists and outstretched arms. It is an involuntary tremor of the wrist loss of sustained contraction of the arms against ones will. It is produced by lapse of sustained posture. Mainly it causing hand tremors and the tremor occurs in both wrists and is not rhythmic characterized by metacarpophalangeal joints, jerky, irregular movements at the wrist and often accompanied by lateral movements of the fingers.
