What is Scabies?
Scabies is a common skin disease caused by a very small species of mite or small itchy bumps. Scabies not always transmitted sexually. Scabies can also be passed between members to members or by shared clothing, skin to skin, bedding and towels. Scabies can affects all ages of people and often affects several family members at same time. The scabies rashes frequently found between ankles, wrists and fingers. It may infected by other bacteria or further problems.
Causes of Scabies: Scabies is an infection caused by an infestation with the scabies mite that is spread by direct skin-to-skin contact with a person, sleeping in the same bed with or touching someone who has scabies. Mites may live only for several days but usually spread through skin-to-skin contact; it burns very vastly under the skin. In a female mite lays 3 to 4 eggs per day into the skin and creating small, threadlike tunnels that you can sometimes see.
Symptoms of Scabies: The Scabies symptoms occur from two to six weeks before itching start. Some Symptoms include:
• Itching: Itching results from an allergic reaction. Rashes can be found anywhere on the body, it made up of tiny red insect bites or spots. In adults it may appear in the elbows, the wrists, around the nipples (in women), the folds of skin, genital area (in men)
• Red dry or irritated skin
• Babies and adults are especially at the risk of women disease
Precaution from Scabies:
• Try to avoid the direct contact with infected person.
• Use corticosteroid lotions or mild soap
• Always use bed sheet and towel which should be washed in hot soapy water.
• Wash your clothes and bedding regularly

Treatment of Scabies: Many people can treat it themselves but further doctor will visit and prescribed toxic drugs, medicines over multiple treatments or a doctor might be put a drop of mineral oil on to the infected skin area. Follows the doctor prescription carefully and always contact a doctor to know how to use medicine and give the updates of your disease. If any women is pregnant then she should talk to doctor for alternative treatment.
